About Nadia
Founder / Sommelier
Nadia Pavlevska is your personal Sommelier and wine consultant. Nadia has more than 20 years of experience in the Food & Wine industry. Her love for wine led her to become a Certified Sommelier (CS) with the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) with the American Society of Wine Educators. She is also a French Wine Scholar (FWS) graduating with highest honers from the French Wine Society, and an Italian Wine Specialist (IWS) with the North Amercian Sommelier Association. In addition she is one of the official Professional Wine judges of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, as well as the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the International Women' Wine Competition, and the California State Fair Wine Competition. Nadia is also a Certified International Etiquette and Business Protocol Consultant with the Washington School of Protocol and a member of the Guild of Master Sommeliers.
Nadia's interest in wine began in her youth in her native Bulgaria, a region that was once one of the world’s largest wine producers. After Nadia left her home at age of 21, she traveled the world and lived in 3 different countries. Education eventually brought her to California, where she earned a B.S. from University of Southern Californa, the Marshall School of Business. Prior to USC, Nadia studied at Sofia University in Bulgaria and the University of Salzburg in Austria. In addition to wine, Nadia is passionate about travel, ballroom dancing, and philanthropy. She board member of “I Can Too” foundation, a nonprofit organization that brings smiles and relief to kids with special needs. She frequently visits the wine country of Santa Ynez, Napa, and Sonoma or enjoys discovering new wine bars and great restaurants in Los Angeles.
